Hi! I’m Kayla Tejada, a 3D Character Animation major at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I also work in 2D animation and 3D technical animation, and I like to dabble in illustration as part of my creative process.

I’ve always been inspired by the shows and artists I grew up with, as well as those who came before me. That inspiration pushed me to start creating my own stories and characters, and along the way I realized that animation was something I wanted to pursue long-term. I began with a traditional background in painting before transitioning into digital animation, and over time I’ve continued to grow, refine my skills, and develop my artistic voice.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep developing my abilities and creating stories that can inspire others the same way I was inspired as a kid.
